Cadet lines in New South Wales, 1835+
Joseph Baskerville, Gold miner and prospector of Sydney, Menangle, Hill End and Tambaroora
Joseph and Ellen emigrated in 1841, arriving in Sydney aboard the Moffat. They lived at first in the Menangle area of the south-western Cumberland Plain. Ellen died during childbirth having the youngest, George, at Lower George Street, Sydney, about 1854. Joseph and his children then moved to the gold mining district of Hill End/Tambraroora in Central Western NSW.
